U.S. Embassy in N. Macedonia marked the 20th Anniversary to the Youth Exchange and Study Program

To mark the 20th Anniversary to the Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program, Ambassador Aggeler hosted a gathering of alumni, government officials, the American Councils Board of Trustees and Washington DC leadership, and host schools representatives and friends of the program. In her remarks, Ambassador Aggeler spoke about the importance of exchanges and the role of this program. For 20 years, YES has impacted over 15,000 students' lives around the globe—promoting diplomacy, intercultural dialogue, and mutual respect between nations.

With 26 alumni in attendance, this event was an opportunity for our alumni to reflect on their outstanding contributions and to socialize and reconnect.
