Celebrating Wild Life
March 3rd is the International WildLife Day. Our alumni community decided to celebrate this day by presenting about Wild Life at the State School for Rehabilitation of Visually Impaired Children and Youth “Dimitar Vlahov” Skopje. Edi Frcovski is an alumnus from the generation of 2015-2016, who has been studying Biochemistry at Cyril and Methodius State University in Skopje. Currently he is working as the president of Biology Students' Research Society (BSRS). Besides that he is a very enthusiastic and passionate presenter who has the adequate knowledge to present about WildLife. Together with a fellow student from college, he presented on mammals, reptiles, insects, birds... Since the presentation was targeting high school and elementary school students that have visual limitations he adjusted it perfectly with samples that they could touch and feel the texture, form and shape of the species. The audience was also extremely interested and knowledgeable regarding Biology and Nature. They asked advanced questions such as the cognitive processes of animals, how they think, how they sound etc. Edi Frcovski and his fellow students were very well prepared and managed to play sounds and teach the students on how to distinguish them and understand their meaning.
