“Zumba for All” in Negotino

Zagorka Panova, the City Representative for Negotino, spearheaded a remarkable initiative aimed at promoting inclusivity and sports within the community. On November 17th, Negotino witnessed the lively spectacle of “Zumba for All”, a sports event organized by Panova.

This forward-thinking event took place at Centar Poraka Negotino, an institution dedicated to providing cultural and daily activities for people with disabilities. This creative initiative aimed to extend the enjoyment of physical activity to everyone, regardless of ability. Ten people with disabilities participated in “Zumba for All”, experiencing the exciting rhythms and movements of Zumba for the first time.

The event not only encouraged physical fitness but also fostered a sense of community and inclusivity among participants.

Panova's project echoed the importance of embracing diversity and breaking barriers through sports. By providing an opportunity for disabled individuals to engage in Zumba, the event showcased the transformative power of inclusivity.
