Global Youth Service Day Part 2 - Cooking at a church kitchen

On April 27, city representative Nikolija Zlatevska '23 brought together eight alumni and one non-alum to volunteer at the church "St. Peter and Paul" in honor of GYSD initiative. During these three hours, the participants helped prepare food for homeless people; from helping chop and peel vegetables, to packing food, and lending a hand to whatever else the cook and workers needed. Afterward, over lunch, they had a debrief session on the importance of being active in the community and volunteering.
