PDO Panel 2023

This year's regional Pre Departure Orientation occurred on July 3-5, 2023 in Krushevo for the YES finalists from North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Bulgaria. The mandatory training equips exchange students with skills to effectively handle potential challenges during their stay and manage their expectations. It prepares them to face any difficulties that may arise so that they can adapt quickly to new cultures and environments. Overall, this training provides exchange students with valuable knowledge to make the most of their exchange year and come out with a positive and rich experience.

Teodora Boshkova '16, has been selected to work as a Teaching Assistant to help in facilitating the sessions in the PDO.

Six alumni participated at the Alumni Panel Session on July 4 to share their experiences. The following topics were covered: Clothes and Hygiene by Bojan Blazhevski '22, Male/Female Roles by Rina Osmani '19, Accepting Failure and giving out the pursuit of perfection by Borjan Georgievsi '22, Religion by Igor Stojkov '22, Volunteerism and community service by Duresa Rushiti '20, Friendship by Berta Stojkovska '17, Students with disabilities and Alumni Activities by Rina Osmani '19 and Small town life by Igor Stojkov '20.
