YES Alumna Rina Osmani and YES Abroad Students Host Festive Workshops for Children in Saraj, Skopje

In the spirit of the season of giving, YES Alumna Rina Osmani, accompanied by three YES Abroad students, organized two workshops for children at the educational center "Step by Step School" in the Municipality of Saraj, Skopje, North Macedonia, on December 27 and 28. The workshops, attended by a total of 102 students at Step by Step, were designed to commemorate the approaching new year while fostering creativity and engagement among the young participants.

During the two-day event, children enjoyed themselves in a festive atmosphere and a variety of activities. From learning and singing beloved Christmas songs to meeting enchanting Christmas characters, the workshops offered a blend of entertainment and education. Moreover, the children had the opportunity to reflect on the passing year, sharing their experiences and aspirations for the future. Through thoughtful discussions and interactive sessions, they embraced the spirit of growth and optimism that accompanies the new year.

The most fun part of the workshops was the hands-on activity of painting Christmas elements on rocks, allowing the children to express their creativity and their holiday spirit in a unique and personalized way. The collaborative efforts of Rina Osmani and the YES Abroad students not only provided a platform for cultural exchange but also instilled a sense of community and celebration among the young participants. The workshops left a lasting impact on the hearts and minds of the children of Saraj, highlighting the power of unity and joy in bringing communities together.
